A mate of mine has a set of (what i believe are) Borbet C's. They are 6 spoke, 17"x7.5j. Don't know much about them though and can't find any information on them. Says i can have them for £150 which i think is cheap and has given them to me to try out but i havn't had a chance to try them on the car yet. They have VW centre caps so i'm guessing they are FWD offset so i'm thinking i'll need a spacer. Anyone know anything about them though? or know how i can find out the offset of them?
Cheers Raf

So assuming yours are 7.5" wide, did you need a spacer? Is your car lowered? And did you need to roll your arches?

nope, no spacers, loweered about 35-40 on billies, rear arches are hammered in a bit diy stylee by previous owner but id don't think the wheels get anywhere near them.
yours may be a funny offset tho from a VW. put em on and see

Yeah i had thought that. I have a mk1 golf and i put one of the wheels from that on to the beemer just out of interest and bordom and it was just rubbing on the strutt, and they were 7j so i am thinking i'll need abit of a spacer. Hopefully the monkey mechanics will finally put an MOT on it tomorrow though and then i can try em out.
