Hi All,

Just did a DIY job on my wheels and really happy with the results. Only problem is that when i took a wheel off, the front passenger side jacking point cracked and bits of rust fell off.

Any idea how and how much this is to get repaired as the car is sound otherwise.

If it's just the square steel bit, pull your carpets up and check for corrosion penetration inside. If there is some, you'll have to cut the rusty bits out and weld fresh steel in place. If you have any idea at all about MIG welding it's not a hard job to DIY; if you haven't it should be under £100 a side at an independent garage.
If the inside is OK, i.e. solid metal everywhere, take a wire brush to the outside and shift all the loose rust, then cover well with underseal.
And they're NOT jacking points. They were fitted to move the shell around the factory; they're not reinforced to take the weight of the car. Jacking points at the front are on the front sills, chassis rails and crossmember.
