Just wondering what anybody else is getting because I was averaging about 20-25, which was hurting the pocket to say the least. I never over revved the car or held it in low gears to say that it was my driving style.
102k on the clock and brand new carb properly set up. Any Ideas or is it just the way they are?????

I'd say that wouldn't be far off wrong in city driving. Have you done a brim test? Fill up to when the pump clicks out. Reset your milometer, drive until you need to fill up, go to the same petrol station, fill to one click again and then see how many litres you used. Convert this to gallons and divide the number of miles you've racked up with that figure. A pretty accurate way of measuring MPG.

I used to get about 25-29 on the M10 with a brand new Weber I had years ago, was never as good on fuel as the pierburg or whatever it was that came off!

Shite, looks like it's doing what it should be so. A 2.5 would be around that!!! I adjusted the timing at the weekend and I must get a change of plugs, so might improve slightly....
