URGENT :gaps between my e30 cab windows?: URGENT

Since iv bought my e30 there has been one annoying problem with it....that is that the front windows and the back quarter glass do not meet properly and hence allow large gaps to develop between em making space for water and air to breeze in...i hav tried to figure out the reasons for this and have also been to some mechanics but they aynt gta clue!..Does any one know any good mechanics who specialise in bmw's or jus car windows who can help me..Last but not the least can i ask you special individuals in this blog to part eith your knowledge and attempt to get me out of this brown plzzzzzzz.Much appreciated.

is it not the rubbers that are at fault ?

The windows are adjustable so when a new roof is fitted, they can be adjusted to form a tight seal. No 2 roofs are the same. The mounting bolts for these will have a number of shims or spacers around them to achieve best fit.
Look at where the windows join the seals fr each individual window. The black strip on the rear window should have a slightly rearwards tilt once the windows are fully raised. The front window rear edge will need to match this.
Another thing to try is to fold the roof back and fully raise the windows. The roof could be preventing the full extention of the windows.
There is no exact science. I have not played with my windows but have retrofitted a roof and it's a PITA of a job.
To adjust the windows, remove door cards to get access to the bolts. I have nothing else I can add to help you, other than post some pictures and this is a fixable issue. It will just take time effort and patience.
