Changing Rockers with engine in car ?

On a E30 325i is it possible to extract the rocker shafts, to fix broken rockers, with the engine still in the car.

I have all the pulleys and the belt off and the shafts are ready to come out ..... but it doesn't look that easy to get a drift in there to drive them out ?? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

I want to avoid either taking the engine out or the head off if possible ??

Im thinking you have to loosen one engine mount jack it up on that side then with mole grips force the shafts out threw the grill. take the grill out.
Might be wrong but will be corrected if I am.

Remove the eccentric adjusters from each rocker, pull off the securing clips, remove the locating plate from the front of the head, and move the rockers away from the top of the valves as they come loose as you turn the engine. This will take all the load off the rocker shafts, and they should slide out reasonably easily.
