my 316i is a right bastard to start........ but only when its warm.....

when its cold it starts first turn..... but takes 3-4 turns of the key to get her goin when its warm!


has anyone else had this problem?

Is this if you immediately try to restart it, or if it's left a while?

Try stopping the engine by pulling out fuse 11 (fuel pump). The car will stop after a few seconds.
Turn off the ignition, replace the fuse, leave the car for 45 minutes, and then re start it.
The car will take a second or so to re-pressurise the fuel rail, but does it start better than before?
