can someone tell me how to remove the sunroof panel i have a rough idea but haven got stuck into it as i dont want to do the wrong thing so help please

Open it a few inches, carefully pop the sunroof lining panel off at the front (5 or 6 spring slips) then slide it back into the roof-space. Close the sunroof, tilt it up and you'll have access to 3 torx screws on each side.

with out trying to change the topic , chris to change the whole sunroof can i remove the head lining undo the cage it sits in and drop the whole thing out in 1 lid aswell

You can't undo the sunroof cage - it's welded in.

this gets worst every time this sunroof of mine lol , was told by two independent bmw
specialists near me its held in by for nuts and alot of plastic brackets need to change
sunroof asap cos of damage and keep gettin told diff of how its done think should open a new topic for this thanks chris
