E30 Zone

Hi , got a s/h cup kit to fit my cab but am not sure about the front bump stops , the damper inserts came fitted to struts but one side had the protective sleeve and bump stop the other side had nothing !! i know some dampers have internal stops so you do away with the factory ones . do i leave them off ? cut them down and fit them ? i ment to add that coz the damper is shorter the stops and sleeve cover the whole rod !!

any ideas anyone ?
