E30 Zone

Hi guys. I've just ordered a repair kit for my roof motor. as with all e30 hood motors my case has broken, a piece sheared off. I've ordered a stainless steel plate witch bolts on to the case. its held on by 11 small bolts. (fingers crossed) this should solve the problem for good, type in "Verdeckmotor Reparatarsatz" in ebay and you should get a result. its rom germany. the guy has just added paypal and will also translate into english, quite helpfull. costs Ԛ£88-. which includes shipping. compare that to Ԛ£340 for a new motor and its a bargain. ill let you all know how i get on, tom.
