I don't want a really fast car and realise that the 320 convertible was never very fast. However, mine does not feel like a 6 cylinder 2 litre injection. Maybe I should put in a new airflow meter? A better exaust? Or should i forget it and accept it's a slow car and upgrade to a 325i?

It's fairly smooth. After 3.5 it can pick up. Depends on how well it has been maintained. Mine had a zone chip in it 3 years ago. Picks up better than a mates lower mileage 320i cabby.
