Convertible wings different ?

Hi guys (and maybe girls)

Could someone please tell me if convertible wings are different from other E30's? I need two front wings for my convertible but I was dissaponted to hear from a breaker that they are different from the rest. Presumably they are hard to get since there aren't so much convertibles around?

yes they are different as the bottom of the wings are deeper and longer

Thanks what about the rest of the panels are they all particular to the convertible?

The chrome bumpers are they special to the convertible?

Bumpers are the same (but rear end caps are different), bonnet & bootlid are the same, as is the front valance as far as I know. Doors are obviously different.

i bought new wings for my cab last year got a good discount but they still cost me £246 for the pair from bmw ...try good second hand if you can get them
