In my engine bay i noticed 2 plugs disconnected. The plugs are located on the same loom as the idle control valve which is plugged in. One of the plugs I think is for the tps and the other I have no idea what it is for. The car idles fine but when i unplug the icv the idle does change slightly but still remains smooth.
If I plug-in the tps the car still idles fine but stutters badly when revving-up. Unplugged it works fine. Any help you guys can offer would be appreciated.
The 2 plugs

Pointing out the position for the plug i believe to be the tps

What are these plugs for?

Take the big air hose off for access and check out the operation of the TPS with a meter (search function!).
Spare connector is for part of emissions equipment you don't have, so don't worry about that one.
Without the TPS plugged in you won't have the use of the ECUs wide open throttle or idle maps.
Check the TPS and plug it back in, then you MAY have to sort another fault or maladjustment, as there's a distinct possibility that some muppet has been at work.
