e30 320 help plz

hi every1, my 320 has no spark out of the dizzy cap, i have a spark from the king lead but not from the cap, i have a new rotor arm and cap on it but still the same problem, any ideas??

thats what i thought 2 start with, i bought them from halfords and we all know what they are like 
so i got a new cap and rotor arm from bmw direct.

no spark = busted crank angle sensor

that is what i was thinking 2 start off with dj88 but i have a spark from the king lead???
