E36 Injectors into an E30???

I was wandering if anyone had done this? As the E30 325i injection system is getting on a bit now. Does anyone know if I could replace my current injectors with a lot from an E36 325i to maybe get a bit more power and make the system a wee bit more efficient?

Yes its my ad
Got a fair few sets I need to get rid of one way or another.
If you read closer though you will notice I recommend them for turbo or cc increased engines, no bullshit anywhere

iv been told that the ecu isnt a learning type and that injectors or a different flow rate. either hiher or lower cc/min, will cause it to over or under fuel and need adjustment.
if thats wrong then im sure in the market for a new set of injectors for the m20b20.

I have a set in my garage too and am pondering whether to fit them...I am lead to understand that if you have a lambda sensor the ecu will compensate for the possibility of a too rich mixture??

you wont bee feeding it any more as the fueling has to be adjusted to suit otherwise it will just be running ritch.
lamba sensors been mentioned before, theory is it wont have a wide enough adjustment range to compensate. but this is yet to be tested.

standard injectors are good for well over 200hp. so unless you are planning on running more power than that using anything larger than standard injectors is not going to give a noticeable power gain?

its the easiest way to make people understand
train the horse and give it the right things then it will get faster and stronger

I have E36 M3 injectors in my car, the spray pattern is different, you will notice that when fitting the injectors it will over fuel, but take your car for a C02 adjustment back to how the previous injectors were, i done this cos i was the one who took the injectors outta the engine and it only had 3k miles on the clock and my injectors are new so i thought why not put em in, never looked back and had no problems... you can fit E36 2.8 injectors, M30 3.5 injectors, and ive know people to do that and works well.. im not condoning it as you can make your own mind up but like i says ive had no problems and the car runs sweeet, bear in mind i have a 2.7 reemapped with them on.....
goodluck
