I have some electric problems in my e30 320i 1983.
The radio works fine untill i turn on the lights, it stops working it goes on and off like there isn;t enough electricity. The batery is fine and also the alternator is charging good.
My radio is connected to the wire for the emergency blinkers ( cant remember for the english term ) i tryed to put it on the rear window heating and it was the same...

I'd recomment picking up Part reference: PC2-25-4
from
here
With a link
here from someone who's fitted one. Did mine as part of the dash replacement and a lot happier with it now.
It will basically replace all the radio wiring behind the dash up to the jack in the passenger footwell and well recommended if your radio wiring has been "modified"..

Hi I have used the Part tezk recommends and it worked fine, also I think ECP does one.If you look in the styling/ice section and go to page 4,and look for post "wiring in radio" you will find a good write up.HTH Jim
