320 to 325. E34 lump viable?

From what I can gather the e34 88-90 has the m20 engine as per the e30.

Would a 525 of this era be a good donor for a 2.5 lump in my 2.0 tourer?

Would all the 'bits' change over the same as a e30 2-5 donor?

The engine from a 525 with the m20 engine will fit the e30, you wont need to change anything over.

Marvo. Thanks. Will the ECU and oil cooler fit too?

Looks to me that nasty E34s are a lot cheaper than equivalent e30s... ;)

Agreed.

What I meant was in relation to nasty E34s as opposed to  E34s; hence the raping of the engine & ancillaries prior to the ceremony "of the weighing in" ;)
