Can someone scan me the page that shows you how to change the power steering belt?
Cheers, very much appreciated!

I've had a look in my Haynes (number 1948, 3 & 5 series 83 - 91) and Bentley (84 - 90) and neither have instructions specifically for replacing the pas belt.
There's lots of info on replacing them in general and pictures of the adjuster on the pump, but that's in the Haynes manual.

remember to slacken off all the pump mounting bolts before trying to re tension the belt with the adjuster or it will just strip the teeth.

Yeah it's probably not a bad idea to go to the dealer and get a new adjuster nut. Mine was in a bad way when I did my cambelt and I couldn't get the correct tension without it slipping. A new nut and adjustment bar cost next to nothing, but will save any headaches when you re-assemble.
