oil leak

right then ive got a oil keaking some where but i cant see it on my drive but you can smell it and near the front under the distrurbiter i can see oil i just want to know are there any common problems where they leak from by the way its a 325i thanks

Head gasket leaking, or camshaft oil seal?

Mine leaks there too, try the camshaft seal at the front or the tappet cover gasket. If not, then its the head gasket, thats were mine is coming from, I here its quite common.

the car had a head gasket done about a year ago is it quite easy to change cam-saft seal
