advice on fuel injection systems or carburetor conversion

hi zoners i have a question for you. i already have a fuel injection in my 325i and i'm thinking of converting to a carburetor system. not sure so was wondering if any of you have done this? if so which one is best to have? If this is a road car, there's the matter of MOT and emissions checks to consider.
TBH, carburettors, especially the non electric type that you're probably considering, have no place on any engine in this day and age.

Please stick with your injection system,for a start they are more reliable than carbs!!!

Not a chance when compared to properly set up injection!
How can anything so crude and hit or miss as a carb,basing its fueling on just two inputs (air speed past through the venturi and throttle opening) compare with a map giving correct fueling and ignition timing at every point in the rev/load range?

What carbs meter the fuel out based on isn't the problem, it's the fact that they're not sophisticated enough to give just the right amount of fuel to the air being ingested.
Things like MS and many other aftermarket ECUs only base their fueling on manifold pressure and engine speed so they're not even measuring the air flow into the engine.
