Confusion about 318iS shocks

Can anyone help with what the Bilstein shocks on the zone shop are for a 318iS?

The site states that Sport shocks are for stiffer suspension without lowering, while the Sprint shocks are if you intend to lower the car... but the shop only has Sport front shocks and Sprint rear shocks for my car....

http://www.evo-s.co.uk/shop/index.php?c ... _2305_2306

Now i'm intending to fit the front shocks first since mine are fubar atm, and do the springs and rear shocks at a later date. When i do get new springs, i'm looking at a 35-40mm drop i think (which is 20-25mm lower than my car is anyway having shorter springs from the factory.

So are the shocks listed really the ones i should be getting or is there something a bit odd about the ones they have listed?

Thanks for any advice :)

Don't know if this post will answer any of your questions Mate, I am planning on a cheap set and had questions about sizes, drops etc.

Aye - nice prices, but if you scroll down a ways then the Sprint fronts are around £130 each... which is more expensive than the zone shop, but i'm still not sure what the deal is with exactly which shocks the zone shop has... M5Pilot?... any help? :)

Cheers for that, i'd seen the thread already and know that i need 51mm front inserts - what i'm trying to find out is what the score actually is with the zone shop offerings....

£55 for rear shocks on there atm looks like a deal, but i really want to know exactly what it is i'm buying.

Anyone know what are the factory shocks (MTEC) for a 318iS?
I think they are gas damped and made by Bilstein or Boge.

Anyone know the aftermarket model name for them?

Can find the model number on the online ETK but if you wanted them from ECP etc then need to find the 'other' name for them...

Also, The later (92 onward) were supposed to come with MTEC suspension but the part numbers don't match up.

Is it correct to say that 325i Sport, 318iS and the very last Tourings all had the same dampers if not the same suspension (springs excepted)?
