Hi i am try to fit electric sunroof over existing manual on my 325i sport.
I has been able to source the lining, motor, switch and relay. Think that is what needed. Does anybody know what else I missing?
Also, i think i can manage to do it if I have the etk or any connection drawing for the car? could anybody help here?
Thank you very much and really appreciate the help.

You also need the black metal plate that the motor bolts onto.
Unfortunately this is riveted by four eyelets to the gold coloured plate behind it, which have to be drilled out. They can be replaced by four 5mm nuts and bolts.
It may be possile to butcher the existing black plate to fit if you can't get the correct one.
Do a search on the subject to find a previous post of mine on the subject. I ran into a couple of perculiar problems changing the plate which are explained there.
The correct wiring loom would be usefull as well . Plugs into one of the sockets on the accesories socket at the back of the glovebox.

butchering the plate is no go really its best to drill out the drivets and bolt up the new plate as suggested by Brian or ideal fit the whole sunroof mech inc cables but thats a bit time consuming.

all the loom is up by the sunroof, the loom basically has connection to motor and switch then to earth terminal, then live is a single green wire that runs from sunroof wiring down the A-pillar and to an inline connector up behind the glovebox.
also i think you need the screws that hold the motor as they are longer
than the ones used the manual mech. iirc

I changed the whole lot in one go by pulling the roof lining down slightly and pullin the whole lot out to the side.
If memory serves i think you have to change the copper runners that the worm gear runs in because there layout is different around the winder.
While you have it in pieces it's just as easy to run two wires down the a piller and locate the switch next to the gearstick to save taking your eyes off the road trying to find the button above your head.

It comes with a black/brown/grey piece of roof lining the same as the dash that fits between the screen and roof opening that the sun blinds fold up into and accomodates the check controll panel.
If you aint got that piece don't bother fitting anything because it will just look sad (and there rarer than rocking horse shit too find. but you might get lucky in the zone).
