e30 adam has just had it done on his

although it would depend on tyre width and how low the car runs

Are they Alpina reps by any chance.
Thinking of getting some this size too, apparantly only the rears need modding unless running a stiff setup.
Will check it out though first.
The tyres quoted were 215/35/18, only 1mm greater diameter than a 15" BBS with 205/55/15 fitted, and 3mm less than 17"with 215/40/17 fitted.
Will have to see if a wider tyre than 215 is required.

No I haven't, mine are 16's. I'd never wreck my car by putting hideous 18" wheels on it.

Back to the question in hand... shouldn't you have checked this before doing anything to your arches. How did you flare them, you can't flare a stock arch.

Adam you have modified your arches for those keskin rudeness, some might think thats naughty also!

Player 6 has 19's on and i don't think he had to do alot of arch work, but again i don't know the offset of his rims.

Has 18inch Kahns on his which look sweet and his arches look standard. Also at a guess it's dropped 40mm too.
