lol sorry i mean the rear electric windows they have a plastic sill on them so when they are fully closed they seal the front and rear windows together to stop wind and water coming through

them sills i want to know how i can swap them over as mine are worn and when i try to close the front window driver side sill catches

The seal on the front edge of the rear side window is bonded in place mate and I dont think you will get it off without destroying it. From your description it sounds as though your problem is more about adjustment of the front and rear side windows anyway.

There's a section on that in the online manual which you can find by going via 'Links' then to 'How to Guides' and then e30 manual. It's under 'Body Equipment' section 51-37-154. Alternaively the Bentleys manual is quite helpful if you've got one.

You need to start by checking your front side windows are adjusted right, then checking the angle of the rears when they are fully up and also the amount they are pressing outwards on the rear of the fronts. That will all possibly affect whether they catch on the fronts. See a previous thread http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... highlight= which covers the 'in and out' adjustment of the rears too.

Good Luck
