Hey guys
I don't have a haynes manual yet, and want to replace my thermostat.
Is it located in the top hose mounting plate where it meets the engine block?

Yes it is on a m20

Cheers Ed. That looks like a right c*nt to get off, theres wiring obstructing it, and the rad fan cowling :/

Dead easy to get at - once you take the rad out!

Won't loose hardly any more than when you take the thermostat out! It is possible to catch and reuse it, if you're that tight arsed!

just realised i didnt get a fecking gasket anyway, so cant do it now!
