Fitting Blue Temperature Sensor

Hi,

I'm new to e30's. I'm carrying out some work on my '89 325i sport. I'm trying to eliminate this problem of jerkiness under light acceleration at around 40mph.
One of the things on my list to change is the blue temperature sensor. It seems to be nestled in such a way as to prevent access with a socket. Do you have to loosen the injector rail in order to gain access?

Thanks

Tom

IIRC you have to take off the connections on the blue & brown sensors and use an offset ring spanner, there's not a lot of room there, but enough!

Thanks Fugazi. I was trying to fit a deep socket over the sensor and was having no joy. That clarifies it for me.

Cheers
