E30 Zone

replaced the oil spray bar today and have found the thread closest to the bulk head was stripped out. have re threaded it but is now leaking oil and number six rocker isnt getting good oil feed on idle due to low pressure

has anyone else had this problem and any solutions thinking helicoiling?

Helicoil or re-machining is the only way to get the end of the spray bar to form a good seal in the socket. Problem is that you are helicoiling into a very small blind hole. Swarf into oil ways etc!!!
Epoxy metal putty is another way if the threads are not too badly damaged.
