Agreed with fastcarz on that....

You'll need the Airflow meter as well, but ideally that'll come with the engine.

Dunno if the P/S pump fits onto the 2.5 engine with the same fixings as the 1.8? Might be worth finding out..

Oh yes davetouring, the airflow meter i fogot

your better off benny just getting a doner 325i, so the garage im taking my car to has all the bits they need to avoid any problems,

davetouring, sorry to hear about your engine, hope mine will be ok when its in my car! what was the milage of the engine btw. the doner 325 ive got is showing 122k with lots of history so hopefully it should be reliable!

I'm sure you'll be ok, sounds good.

My engine had over 200k, but pulled very strongly. Still sits next to 325 Sports!

Worth checking it over though!

benny, im sure u can get a good insurancee deal, people on the zone have put 3.0 and 3.5 engines in there e30's and managed to get insured,

if u do the conversion ie brakes and suspention, u should get insured, ask some guys on here!

Investigate classic insurance, if the car's old enough.

the steering rack will also need to be changed.

brackets for the air box and Engine relays will need a place to sit.

Radiator and expantion tank.
