lowering a tourer

i have got a set of -40 springs from a 3.18 saloon will they fit the tourer ok???
They will fit, but the back end will droop. The Touring is heavier at the back than a saloon.
Plus, is the Touring a 4 cylinder too? If it's a 6 cylinder you're buggered.
I wouldn't advise putting saloon springs on a Touring.
