When installing new rear Goodridge hoses (see my post on welding nighmare), I couldn't undo the flexi to rigid unions over the rear axle carrier. the pipes were rusted to b**gery anyway, so I decided to modify the brake pipe system. Basically, the brake hydraulic pipe arrives at the back end, where it enters a three-way manifold. From the manifold, the left and right rear disc pipes run two more rigid steel hoses back towards the front of the car, then bend through 180 degrees back to the rear of the car, where they are joined to the flexi's through mounting lugs on the underbody, again right above the axle carrier. Why these two extra rigid pipes? They are a b*stard to get at, go rusty, and seem to serve no purpose. Thus I decided to get rid of them. I got special Goodridge hoses made up locally (2 off, Ԛ£30 the pair) with one male end (to go into above manifold) and one female end to connect to the rigid pipe mounted on the swing-arms. Connected up (moved manifold to more accessible area on underbody), bled the system and all now works.

No, but I converted from rear drums to rear discs , when I also fitted the Goodridge hoses.
So you go flexi straight from the T-spliter down to the solids on the semi trailing arms. That should be fine, manufatures use the shortest possible flexi's due to cost and expansion of the hoses effecting braking but your running braided so no prob there.
If I can't fix it I'll f**k it up so bad nobody can!!
