Broken Starter switch/fitting a push button start

Being having a few problems with the starter switch, ignition comes on but no sound from the starter solanoid. i want to fit a push button start does any one know which two wires i need to use? PM me

Red with white trace (terminal 30) battery positive.

Black with Yellow trace (Start signal to solenoid).

Got a mate with a push button start in his mini :cool:

assuming the a series starts, that is :wink:

Nothing new in the world - all the first minis did - it was mounted on the floor though.

We've an old Austin Healey with a starter button on the dash. And a 1935 Talbot, come to think of it.
