pirahna alarm

hi people, jonny has also had the same sort of problem as me and has removed his imobiliser.

does anybody have a pirahna alarm and has removed there imobiliser? or does anybody know how big of a job removing an imobiliser is?

there's a few alarm fellas on here from Essex area, I think they normally drop in around 6 ish

IF the immobiliser was installed by someone who knows where it should connect, then there should be a two pin white socket above the glove box with two green wires going to it from the car loom. The immobiliser should be plugged in here.
Remove the plug and replace it by a plug fitted with a short loop of wire.
BMWs with factory fitted alarms will have a plug already fitted with a short loop of green wire ties up to the loom near the socket.

Only just seen this. I had a Pirahna immobiliser problem and paid the guy who had fitted it 13 years previously to disconnect just the immobiliser. It is the green pair of wires from the Pirahna unit and you can cross-connect them either at the unit or where they hook up to the car loom which is the better option in case the root of the problem is a loose connection there.

all you need to do is trace the wires back from the box, to the cut off point, and join the wires back together... if you are in essex and the car drives and you simply want it disconnected, get the car to me, im in goodmayes, i can do it for 30 quid.
