I need more power

Hi.I have a 325 which i use for track days. I want to get a bit move grunt out of it and was thinking of replacing the engine. What engine would be easily fitted and what do i need to fit it?

M52 2.8 would be a good upgrade or maybe if you can stretch a S50

ok mate thanks. My mate has a 1990 730i he's breaking for spares. Will that engine fit?

Yes but if i'm right in thinking thats an M30 then it wont be much of an upgrade from an M20 if your going for M30 the 3.5 will be muchbetter.

ok i'll look on ebay for a 3.5 m30.Do you know if i can use the same mounts,rad,sump etc that are in my car?
