1st tech question to the zone, treat me gently tigers :P

I have electric windows on my broken e30 m40 1990 4 door, would like to move them on to my e30 m10 1984 2 door. Winding down windows is becoming a chore.

Is this possible - from what I have read / understand there maybe some discrepency in the sizes of some parts between earlier and later models of e30's.

Can anyone confirm if this is possible and offer any tips if it is.

cheers,

rusti-c !

The problem is the glass. Early glass is different at the bottom, and you cant swap glass because one is a four door and the other a two.
You need to find some late two door glass, but it will probably be a different colour.
