Bit of advice please guys.

Need to remove the peddle box from my breaker for an auto conversion.
Started taking the dash out earlier, almost done.

Question is,how do the pedals come out?
I mean,is it the complete assembly that i have to change or can i simply remove the clutch and brake pedals and refit these in the auto?

Any help appreciated :D

Nice one Steve.

Looking at that,it looks like i may have to change the full assembly in one.

Is this possible without stripping the whole thing into bits?

Can anyone who has done this confirm?

it comes out in one big chunk. iirc there are about 6 nuts holding it to the bodywork. The brake rod also needs to be lossened.

Right guys i got the pedal box out today but need to check a couple of things with someone in the know!

When removing the pedal box i couldnt see the clip holding the linkage bar to it,so i just `forced`it out from behind the heater box 8O
Looking at it now i can see the pin and clip but its in upside down?meaning the isnt enought room to withdraw it
So can i release the lock nut and unscrew the rod thus leaving it in place?

Also i removed the full dash on the breaker to get to the pedal box, will this be nessarsary on the new car or can i work around it?

as long as you screw the rod in exactly the correct position, it should be ok.

the dash can stay on the car
