M50 Exhaust & Elect Help

OK...so I ordered a set of headers for a 325i M50 from a breakers in Kent (no names just yet), specifically asking for the later tubular ones rather than the older cast items.
After a bit of hassle getting them delivered, I've just opened the box to find that they've sent me a set of 328i headers
I've checked the ETK and they are definately different part numbers.
Disregarding the fact that this bunch of cretins either can't read a f*****g email, understand plain English over the phone or be bothered to query the vehicle model with me, my question is can I still use them on my M50 fit?
I'm hoping someone can come up with the answer before I totally lose it big style and use the twatting car for my next BBQ.
Will anything go right with this job???????

On a seperate note, regarding the electrics, I've seen it mentioned that a wire needs to be run up to the back of the dash for an ECU fault light (it's an M50tu with EWS).
I've got that far, but when I look at the back of the instrument cluster for a bulb location, the recommended hole to use is an odd shaped one.
It's a large diameter bit of plastic with a square hole down the centre of it and I'm buggered if I can find out what bulb fits it (even spent an hour with the parts guys at the local dealers trying to identify it. Sycamores of Peterborough BTW. Very very helpful and well recommended).
Is it a lash-up job to get a bulb in there or does anyone know the part number for this mysterious item? :?

I used the hole on the opposite side of the ABS hole! Looks the same as the ABS hole.

It lights up the green section of the cluster which is only used on the diesels. Just chop an ashtray-light bulb holder out of a scrapper, connect one wire to the grey ECU wire and the other onto the live side of the ABS warning light bulb
