is a convertible windscreen the same as a salon or coupe?

hi guys,
a stone jumped up and chipped my screen today and has left a 10 inch crack
just wondering if a convertible windscreen is the same as a salon or coupe as i want to get one from the scrapyard.

yes they are only the mirror fittings are different
1 coupe has mirroor in the roof
2 the cabrio has a mirror on the screen which can removed and glued back on
not the best way but cheap enough

Im guessing dips has fitted and seen enough screens in his time, thats where my trust would be.

Yes they are the same you just need to glue the mirror fixing on.

thanks mate ,used to work for autoglass once upon a time
you can also fit a m3 bonded screen in a e30 with a few bits as well and the right know how

yes mate ,it WILL fit,done it myself,i used special glue to fix the mirror fixing to the screen,worked fine

saloon screens do fit (ive done it)how are they different ,steve apart from the mirror fitting?

Then sureley, Steve, its the f@ckin rear view mirror thats different not the windscreen itself.

from what I have seen they are the same
its only the mirror location thats different.

they are the same i know because i have a cab screen in my 4 door saloon. fuck the rear view mirror the fact is they fit

but the position of the mirror differs-agreed?
