Hi,

Has anyone ever fitted an OBC from a 325i to 318is??

As a straight swap what were your findings regarding fuel computer accuracy?

Also there is a code plug that fits in the rear of the obc display unit that is unique to the 325i, 320i and 318is (Note not one available for 318i that i could see). Has anyone swapped this during this retro fit?

Does it need to be coded by BMW or is it a simple pre set plug in item?

Questions over!!

Thanks for you advice.

Gareth

ive fitted one to my IS but didnt realise you could get a plug fo rit as i though it was only avalible on the 6 cylider cars. as regards fuel and MPG, range gives a reading but i don think its accurate and mpg is stuck on 7.1 mpg constantly.

IMO i would say it would be worth doing it right and now i know theres a plug avalible i'am gonna order 1. it nice to have the hole thing working. :D
