i want to lower my e30 but i want it to be comfortable aswell.

im not expecting the comfort to be perfect but can anyone suggest any kits to buy.... thinking of lowering it 60mm at front and 40mm at back.

H&R cup kit - Zone shop

Bilstein sports are also very good, i have the sport pack which is currently on offer i believe. Not harsh ride at all

ive got 40/40 and it looks fine, i find with 40/60 the rear looks too low imo

People say H and R do the best springs, and i think this is correct.

40mm at the back and 60mm at the front sounds right, there shouldnt be rubbing at the rear with 40mm, whearas 60 can cause problems and people in the back with a 60mm drop is a no no.

Im about to lower mine 40mm all round, but this will still leave a bit of a gap at the front.

As for ride comfort some makes are softer than the 15mm drop mtech springs, but with little movement you dont want them too soft or the car will bottom out the whole time.

Just avoid budget springs, go for H and R i recon.

Hi mate, your cab is looking good now (if thats it in your sig pic). Hope you like the interior parts.

Is that a 40/40 lower in your sig pic? Looks 60 at the rear.

That pic is of it with 60 all around plus its parked half on and half off the pavement, i need some new pics will take some the weekend. 60/60 is just soooo unpractical and more hassle that its worth imo!

The interior parts are looking good mate, just need to sort out a few other things, well ive got a list as long as me arm.

The Mrs is trying to sway me into selling it however i just have to look at it and its pure sex on wheels however i dont use it to go to work now as i use the train and we always use the mrs car as its a company one with a fuel card!!! oh i dont know

60/40 is the best all rounder for looks, comfort and practicality :D

If you meant 60/40....the rear would sit at the same height as 40/40  :D
