Hi,

I have an 2.5 m20 engine and one of the rocker arms have snapped.
Does anyone know if this is possible to replace without taking the head off?

Thanks for any answers

I've moved this to the technical questions section.

Can be removed without removing head, but requires lifting of the engine enough to be able to remove rocker shafts through the front of the head

i see. its the 5th cylinder rocker arm thats gone on the inlet side.
Do i just take the distributor cap off and push the rod through?

Back off or remove all the adjuster eccentrics, remove all the locating clips, and by turning the engine over, you can park all the rockers over to one side so that theyall don't touch the valve stems.
Rocker shaft should then slide out easily, as long as you've removed the bar that locks both shafts in place at the front of the engine.
