misaligned windows after adding hardtop

Hi all,

Just drove into Germany to pick up a hardtop. It's an OEM BMW hardtop and not the Weissmann one. Have had a few problems with it so far, the main one being that the electric windows don't align properly anymore.

On the passenger side, once the back window goes up, the front window actually jams halfway when I try to close it, because it gets angled to close across the edge of the back window instead of along the edge as per normal. Have to end up opening the door, closing the front window and then closing the door. Can't open the window again without having to repeat that sequence to close it.

While on the driver's side, there is now a large gap between the top of the door and the hardtop.

Can anyone help here? I've been told you may have to adjust the windows after putting a hardtop on... anyone have a step by step guide on how to do this?

Many thanks in advance

Cheers

Ben

Never had any problems with my two cab hardtops.
Seem to be a snug fit.

There is some ajustment with how tight the fiiting kit is ie the pins can be.

Good luck mate.
