I'm really pissed off just pic my cab up from were i store it to find a flat back tyre pumped it up got it to the esso garage put some more air in it got it home took the wheel off to find a screw.
The screw is in the middle of the tyre so i think it can be plug'd
Is it ok getting a tyre plug'd??? for the rear of the car
I would change the tyre but i want to change all 4 and get them referbed at the same time.
What make it worse its the Guildford meet tomorrow
but my girly has offered to run the wheel down the toad to get it plug'd

Iirc the tyre needs to be worth saving in the repairers eyes (ie not bald as a coot) and it cant be too close to the sidewall. sounds like you should be ok.

there quite a bit of tread left on the tyre's im sure my girlfriend can win them round

buy a couple of the ready to insert rubber repairs strips and the wee tool to put them in and you'll be laughin. just put in the car and if u ever get another u will be able to fixon the side of the road withput even takin off the wheel. as said so long as it is not on the side wall.. others may disagree but have done it myself for years without 1 failure. even on a bak tyre on a rwd corolla which went out and did celebration douhnuts for fixin his puncture 2 min later

neil, if you had told me earlier, i would of picked the wheel up tonight, taken it to work tomorrow, got one of the tyre boys to repair the puncture for you, and then got it back to you before we go to the meet! all for a fiver!
but you forgot to call me didnt you!!!
