I was just wondering is it possible for the wrong size lowering springs to cause vibration through the steering wheel?

It seems ever since i lowered my car (318i) the steering vibrates at around 40-60mph?

Also have what can only be described as "klonking" noises

Its most defientley been lowered properly, but i'v recentley learned there are different size lowering springs??

If i would have used 325 springs would this have an effect in anyway?

You checked the discs, tie rod ends etc?

I cant see how springs can cause vibration. The clunking noise could be the hitting of the bump stops. How how have you gone?

Are you sure your wheels are properly balanced?

check anti roll bar drop links, if these are perished it can be exagerated when the car is lowered. mine did exactly the same after i dropped it 40mm

my 325 was as quiet until i put in my new h and rs. then thw top mounts started complainig. dont know if it was the disturbiing of them or the difffernt tension of the springs or height changes but once i added new top mpunts all was well,
would also check the drop links as was already mentioned...
