E30 Zone

Could someone please help me, since all this hot weather and maybe some time before my car keeps on overheating and water keeps coeing back out through the expansion cap, and when i turn off the ignition, water pisses out on the floor behind the front passenger wheel i think its from the over flow, why is this i have even taken out of the thermostat. it doesnot seem to over heat if i keep on the hot heater fall blast but thats no good. please help

Does that work, I can see it working in principal and mine was starting to overheat in a jam the other day and I was tempted to try it. Remember first hearing it in the Cannonball Run film (Yellow camaro) I was in a traffic jam going up a long sliproad. First time it has done it

can anyone help with the viscos fan thing how do i check and stuff. turning the fan on does helf quite well

First of all put a new thermostat in before you crack the head! May be too late already of course.
When you've done that, and are sure it's bled properly, does it overheat when you're driving along, or just in traffic?
If it overheats in normal traffic, then the radiator may be partly blocked or scaled up, or you have more serious engine problems.
If it's just in traffic, then it's the viscous coupling.
