I have been having problems with my 2.7. It has started to cut out after being driven for anything longer than 5 mins. It will cut out at speed or while sat in taffic. Once left for a minute or so it will start again and run as normal. It has been suggested that it could be something to do with the fuel sensor? Could this be true and if so where is the sensor located and how much would a replacement be?

The only fuel sensor is the one for the fuel guage, and when that one has a low reading the engine stops.
Untill you put some petrol in
