remove back seat base.
Un screw left inspection cover.
Undo the pipes and unbolt the 4 bolts that hold the sender unit in.
Pull out sender unit.
Unscrew the pump housing by crossing two screw drivers over each other
with the ends in the locating tabs and unscrew.
Lift out pump.

If you did, you won't have found it.
All that's under the left cover is a second fuel level sensor or nothing at all. The fuel pump's under the right hand cover!

now thats just being picky Brian.
if your removing the rear seat, and facing towards the rear of the car, the inspection cover is on the left! :)

LH side of the car is still the LH side which ever way you're facing.
Would you say the boot is at the front of the car just because you're facing that way?

yeah i suppose its the right hand cover but when i was describing it i was thinking of how i have done it in the past. And becasue i cant remove it from inside the boot or sat on the parcel shelf ,one would assume that hes on his knee's behind the drivers seat doing the job.

No problems MP :D
