glass headlight removal for angel eyes

I bought me some angel eyes on from ebay (not the whole kit just the rings) and I went to take off the glass lens using a heat gun as suggessted in other threads, I was there for ages and although the rubber/silicon seal was melting the glass just didnt want to seem to come off. I used a screwdriver to see if it would prise off but ended chipping a small amount of glass and then just gave up.
Is there another way? Or do i just need to sit there and slug it out? I know people have removed the glass before, is anyone on the forum willing to do it for me?

.. I dont mind paying providing its reasonable. Just pm me.
Hope someone can help.

you can chuck them in the oven for 10mins but this can obviously go wrong and you end up with melted lights
best bet is persevere with the heat gun imo
just keep going round the edge until the glue goes soft and tacky then pop
the lenses
im having a go at this myself over the weekend
good luck

did a set of Bosch from a E34 scrappie with a 5000W heat gun in about ten mins, five mins per lens of direct heat round the rim

then found best to remove lens immediately when hot. once you do one it becomes obvious. dont forget to wear sunnies to protect your eyes!! worth noting they dont just come off, but as you heat the glue becomes soft and tacky, as you prise the lens off the glue stretches and it seems like the lens will not come, but continuos prising pressure wil see the lens eventually come away. (and to be honest it did take me a good hour to do my first lens)
