How much petrol did you have in there and how much diesle did you put in an how long was it run befor you drained the tank?

But i would clean an gap the plugs change the filter and run some injection system cleaner through it with a full tank of petrol i doubt youv damaged the engine cos it would be fucked

Provided tank emptied as you say. Just clean the plugs, fill tank to neck ( WITH PETROL !! ) the derv in filter / injectors will do no harm at all the petrol will see to it.

even if run what you need to do is.

1. drain complete system.
2, refill with CORRECT fuel.
3. i would change plugs.
4, most definatly change fuel filter.
refill every 1/4 tank used for first few runs just to finish diluting the stuff that did not drain out.

5, try not to beat yourself up too much as my company do at least 25 draindowns each week with about 75% coming from bp with their advanced pumps!

it is reccomended that no more than 10% is ok to run with so how much did you put in?
