Should be an easy one, will an e36 steering wheel fit an e30?

no havnt brought one yet and if they dont fit i wont bother.
theres a m tech steering wheel going cheep on ebay allthough there still five days left.

Its an alright wheel, although once you get used to it you'll be craving a smaller wheel...

I've got the standard "Sports" wheel on it at the moment which is quite big (385mm) but feels nice as it's quite fat too.

The same fatness on a 370mm wheel should be about perfect

While you're here Beck what are these worth? I'm guessing you'd know

oguz when i was looking for my tech2 wheel i saw loads of e36 wheels but i found out aswelll that the splines were different.

I did get a tech 2 for £45 in the end

LOL, its a bit hit and miss,,, this time last year I was seeing them go on ebay for £80/90 - excellent I thought, that will help fund a nice Sparco or Momo wheel, a mod that basically pays for itself.

But recently I've seen them go for as little £25. I think thats more to do with the fact that the e36 has become alot more "chav", enthusiast owners are moving on to e46's, leaving no market for OEM and more classic looking products.

They should be doing their best to make their E36s stand out from the "chav" crowd

You know what I meant!! OK, not exactly enthusiast, but i cant think of another word that describes someone that prefers OEM - i.e. sharp contrast to chav!

Hey?? Simple supply and demand economics here.... less OEM lovers & more chavs. demand for oem products fall, and as every chav is fitting a bright red wheel, more m tec stuff becomes available, furthering supply against a falling demand, thus creating lower prices.




I'll explain with charts and graphs if I meet you at a meet dude because I know you enjoyed that explanation LOL!

I meant that's what they should be doing with the E36 instead of giving up and moving on to E46s

I'm not complaining though if it means a supply of cheap M Tech stuff
