Split rims

My BBS RS rims have sprung a leak ...how easy is it to reseal them or does anyone know a decent wheel man near sheffield...the air is escaping thru the studs

A mate had a similar thing happen with one of his split rims. He simply had the tyre removed, cleaned out all the old sealant and replaced with new silicone sealant x 2 coats. As far as I am aware it is still working fine....

had a go at that on friday and went over the inside with some rubbers sealant and it seems to be holding up ...silicone will be better and have bought some just in case...thanks
