Wheres the thermostat on a 92 318 Tourer Please?

Want to replace it as my babies runnin hot, gonna try the thermo first. But....not sure where it is.

Follow the bottom rad hose up to the cylinder head and the thermostat is in the housing/pipe off the head,i think 3 bolts hold it on.
